    1. Wow!This book had me laughing out loud! The humor kinda reminded me of the book, Agent to the Stars by John Scalzi.I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book.I wanted to hit Danny over the head for being so stubborn and getting Theo killed-nope, didn’t feel sorry for Keto even once!I started to feel weird and grossed out when I first started liking the Hunters but they came through in the end.Rake was.ean Rake was almost too much to take and I kept thinking, Poor Ravail, what have you got [...]

    2. Wow! Now that was a excellent story! I'm 3 for 3 in contacting OUTSTANDING Indie Authors with unique voices and incredible story telling abilities!! I am so glad I stumbled upon this gem on and contacted the author about reading and reviewing the book. The premise of aliens, Earth and a war caught my attention initially. I had no idea what I was in for. Looking for adventure, adrenaline, sex, lust and romance with a dash of humor? Look no further. Ms. Town has packed it all into Wastes of Space [...]

    3. Wastes of Space is a dystopian, sci-fi novel with a most unusual romance thrown in the mix to to make it one of the most unique books I have read to date. Rake, a former american space pilot, became a junkie and male prostitute after losing his twin and his girl friend. Rake was planning on using the drugs to kill himself but instead uses them to forget long enough to go on living.Ravil is a sub-species know as navigators named after the gift they posess. After being kidnapped from a breeding fa [...]

    4. Well Well Well Ms Darcy has done it AGAIN!!!!Another cracking could not put down read - Where is the next one!!!!! and the next Once I got over MY screamish niss at the opening chapter - I loved this I adore the world building of this author - super character developement as well What more could you ask for.Cannot wait to get Wastes Away - Hurry Darcy. Want to party with Rake, Ravil and co again

    5. This book is hands down awesome! Large, diverse, fun cast with sexy people (and aliens), laugh out loud scenes, action that makes you sit on the edge of your seat and questionable sexual situations are the perfect recipe for entertaining reading!

    6. I received this book in a giveaway.Although the book is a bit crude, it does help the character development of Rake. I found the story a bit slow at first but it sped up quickly after 150 pages or so.Overall, I enjoyed this book.

    7. I did not enjoy this book. Graphic descriptions, gross immorality, very discouraging. Not at all enlightening or encouraging. Sci-fi scenarios are imaginative and new.

    8. To read the full blog post click HERE This book was sooooo not what I was expecting. I didn’t thing that I would like it very much, but it proved me wrong. All the characters were highly developed which I highly enjoyed and they were unique in their own way. I also liked how it switched between Rake, Ravil, and the hunters. It kept you in the know and you knew what was going on. There were a lot of moments where I was like what in the world just happened. I never knew what was going to happen [...]

    9. I feel like I just read "War and Peace", sort ofThis review is of all four of the first four installments in this series:Wastes of SpaceWastes AwayWaste Not, Want NotWasting TimeThe first one I got free, the second two I paid for on , and the fourth I received free off of the author's website. I actually hesitated before buying #3, as at $4.99 it is a bit more than I usually pay for this kind of book, until I saw the offer of the free #4, and then it became a no-brainer. And turned out well in t [...]

    10. Great premise: a tyrannical galactic Empire has arisen, seeding planets with life to breed useful "tool" subspecies of humans. One such subspecies are the Navigators, who can move a starship vast distances with concentration. These subspecies are controlled by a ruling class of Amphyr, who have direct vocal control over the others by virtue of breeding, and use the other subspecies as tools to further their rule.Enter Ravilaea "Ravil" Lagone, subspecies Navigator, of Lagone heritage. That same h [...]

    11. Review: First I want to say Thank you to Darcy Town and Juniper Grove Book Solution for adding me to this tour!Okay so if you have read my reviews from Paranormal Reads or even the ones I have posted here on Lunar Haven then you know that I rarely read anything from the Sci Fi genreIf I do it has to catch my interest or ill have trouble even getting passed the first chapter. However that was not the case with Wastes of Space, I actually found the plot interesting for a Sci Fi book and though I di [...]

    12. This is not like any other book I have read. But I enjoyed it and I am buying book two immediately to start it.I was drawn into this world that Darcy has created from the start. Aliens, war, adventure, romance and humor what is not to love. I loved all the characters even when they annoyed me. The storyline flows really well and we get just enough information to leave us begging for more. The ending was great they all end up in space which had me going and buying book two just so I could read mo [...]

    13. WeirdWeird from start to finish. This is the most unusual plot, story and characters that I have ever encountered. Right from the very beginning, everything pivots, twists and turns in a direction that I would never have expected. If I had more sense, I would give up now. But,the craziness has captured my limited imagination. I feel compelled to see where the lunacy goes next.I will get the next book to see if I can hang on long enough to make it to the end.I have limited hope that this ride will [...]

    14. This story starts in a Bangkok reminiscent of "The Wind-up Girl" and ends with high excitement more like Star Wars. Oddly, that transition works. I don't give spoilers so I won't outline the plot, but it is imaginative and the book is filled with appealing yet flawed characters. I enjoyed this book so much that I've already read volume 2 of the series and will be reading volume 3 soon.

    15. Seriously funny stuff! I am in love with these characters. How did I not know about this author before last week? Action packed and no time to get bored. Her books are fantastic!

    16. im not a sci-fi fan and thought twice about reading this boy am i glad i did love, action and gross factors glore! i loved it
