    1. I will say, though I adored "Raider", I think I liked this one more. While there is no shortage of carnage, the story intrigue was really fun in "Oath". I have a real struggle deciding if I'm more in love with Halldorr or Crack-A-Bone (I won't tell you who he is.I'll let you have your own fun). But, true to Mr. Born's styleI was cringing and laughing times simultaneously. A fun readd I was happy to spend more time with the characters I've grown to loved new onesat I could love OR hate.

    2. Another superb action yarnThe fifth chronicle of Halldor the Norseman is a fine, action packed yarn that fits in chronologically in the middle of book one of the series. Tons of battle sequences along with very believable characters. Halldor is a major player and witness to the politics of the middle ages. Highly recommended.

    3. Not the bestNot the best book of the saga. But look forward to the next episode. I hope the next to be more entertaining
