    1. I think this was a great book for any age. I really enjoy ghosts books and this one is one I could share with my niece. Sixth grade is hard enough without demons, and girls. But Zander Casey can handle this and his new friend Abigail. I enjoyed this story and the characters in it. I would love to read book 2. * I received this book from LibraryThing giveaway in exchange for an honest review*

    2. *This Book Was exchanged for an honest review*A really great read for middle school youth. Below is the link to my full review on my blogffeecakebooks/2

    3. *Librarything Member Giveaway Book*This book was received as a Member giveaway book in exchange for an honest review.Sixth grade is hard enough without demons, new girls, and fall dances. But Zander Casey has to handle all of these in this book.It is a cute book, but lacks scope and depth, I'm afraid. There is a lack of character fill-in, especially with the family (why does the mom put up with it? I just don't know). Additionally, the dad seems overwrought throughout, but the lack of explanatio [...]

    4. Zander Casey Sees Dead People!Being different is the last thing any guy wants when he's getting ready to enter junior high. Zander Casey is different, and goes to significant lengths to protect his secret. But along comes Abigail Stone, who not only finds out his secret, but complicates his ghostly world more than he could have ever imagined. J.B. Cantwell does a great job of bringing the character Abigail to the front. Both as a strong and determined female, but also, eventually, a friend for Z [...]

    5. Great book for it's audienceWell, first I will point out that the I am not a middle schooler. That said, I read this book to my daughters (ages 5 and 2). They both enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as well. It did take us a while to read, but they lack an attention span. I found it well written, and engrossing. I think this is a perfect choice for a middle school aged reader, or a younger, but more advanced reader. Also, as a parent, this has enough content to appeal as a family read along. *I received t [...]

    6. Nasty warThis was a good book appropriate for maybe 8 to 12 year olds. Common theme of paranormal kids battling paranormal "nasties"in a normal world. Includes themes of friendship, acceptance, and family ties. The reading was a little bumpy/cheesy at the beginning and again at the end but the middle flowed well and incorporated some clever humor. I would recommend it to my grandchildren. This review given in exchange for a free book.

    7. I received a free copy of this as part of a Read & Review program, but it's worth a purchase. As my grandkids get bigger and their reading improves (well, when they learn to read!) I'll likely grab up a copy or two as gifts. This is tale of ghosts, responsibility, understanding and friendship. I enjoy the two-sided misunderstanding explored, with the new girl in school as well as the ghosts. I look forward to reading more, to see how these beginnings are followed through.

    8. I was lucky enough to get this ebook for free in exchange for an honest review. This was lucky on my part since it was great! This was a really cute story. Even if it was filled with nasties! I think kids of all ages will enjoy reading this book. As well as await the next book in the series. I may even pick up part two myself.

    9. I won this book on Good Reads First Reads giveaway. This was a very cute story about supernatural beings. It kept me reading until the end. I can not wait to pass this on to my nephew. It wasn't too hard to read or understand. Thanks for another great book.

    10. Fun This is a great book! Well developed characters and storyline. Highly recommend for children who enjoy mystery, action and things that go bump.
