    1. I won 'The Patriot's Daughter' in a giveaway and I an so grateful I did!! I finished it in the span of three hours because I was immersed into the story and history from the beginning to end! As lover of history, especially the American Revolution, this book was truly a treat! The author did such an amazing job creating the story of Julia Woodhull, the supposed Agent 355. She was such a likable and admirable character, and I was cheering her on throughout her entire mission! Some parts even made [...]

    2. I tried not to be too nitpicky because all historical fiction takes artistic license and liberties, but in the end, this book didn't work for me. If it had been longer, maybe I would have enjoyed it. As it was, the pacing was rushed and the characterization minimal. The character growth was minimal if present at all. If it had been longer, maybe these issues would have been fixed.As for the history, there are a lot of facts that are just plain wrong. And yes, it is fiction, but it does not make [...]
