    1. It is not the fault of this acclaimed manga series that I've become completely lost in the reading of this volume. It is all mine, which can be expected when I've skipped around years of monthly issues and new releases to get to this part. It is the second part of an epic tale. I can not recognize the new characters, or even the regulars, except for Manji, the eponymous immortal swordsman. The art is still exquisitely visceral, with fight scenes galore and free flowing blood and limbs. The two-pa [...]

    2. Complain as I might about this story arc running too long, its ending and epilogues are worth every page. Manji and Rin get both moments of serene reunion and peril that requires unprecedented teamwork, showing off how Rin has grown. But the highlight is the fate of our surgeon, who was corrupted so traditionally across the arc, but whose story beats here are among the strongest Samura has ever written. You'll kick yourself for not seeing one nightmarish scene coming.I can't write anymore withou [...]

    3. So the conclusion to the longest story arc of the series is a nearly endless line of deus ex machinas and, I guess, anti-deus ex machinas (nemesis ex machina?), with friends and foes popping out of nowhere to save/ruin the day every couple of pages. What a horrible, horrible way to wrap things up, not to mention incredibly lazy and sloppy. Hopefully the rest of the series isn't quite as disappointing.

    4. (view spoiler)[The Renzo/Shira reveal devastated me. And if Shira just happens to have just found himself a new left arm filled with even the temporary transference of the kessen-chue entire tedious dungeon arc will have been worth it.(hide spoiler)]What a testament to Samura's abilities.

    5. As usual the fight scenes in this series can be a bit confusing, but the gorgeous art makes up for it. There is also a very entertaining article at the end. :~D

    6. I skipped book 19-20 because I'm a little tired of the Dr. Evil plotline. Liked where 21 finally took the story. Still a big fan, nausea and all.

    7. Excelentes combate, regresso de velhos inimigos e uma cornucópia de surpresas. Um dos melhores volumes da série.
