    1. I received a copy of the book for free through First Reads. Oestara Publishing LLC held a contest to create this anthology of Pagan poems. The book contains Free Verse and Traditional Poetic Forms. As this is not my normal read, I am always looking for something new and I have to say that the thought of Pagan Poetry sparked my interest since I haven't actually ever read poetry that was label as just Pagan.     2. This was a give away. The collection was comprised of entries to a contest for people to write what could be described as modern day Pagan Poetry. Some of the entries were from practitioners of such religions and others just used pagan themes in poems. Definitions of different types of poetry are explored and a biographical sketch of the judges is given. Then the judges shared why they voted for the winning poems in the first section.     3. Good reads win: I am not a big poetry reader. But I found myself somewhat enthralled with the poetry from this book. The main poem's that got my attention were the free style. Thanks for the book
