Unique Artists have been involved at the cutting edge of Drum and Bass for the past 15 years. Primarily an artist agency UA have helped steered the careers of some of the most successful and influential DJs and producers in the scene. Looking back through the roster over the years reads like a who’s who of D&B - Andy C, Friction, Hype, Randall, Pendulum, Bad Company, Ed Rush & Optical and more! After a short break the agency returned rejuvenated in 2007 with a brand new roster incorporating some familiar faces as well as some emerging talent who have gone on to become leaders of the new skool.
The concept behind the album was, for the first time, to bring all the artists on the agency together on one project to showcase their skills, and to reinforce the musical ethos that has underpinned the agency since its inception. Featuring 11 brand new tracks from a selection of the hottest and most cutting edge producers in Drum and Bass, this is a compilation not to be slept on. Blokhe4d & Dieselboy, The Upbeats, Prolix, Uman, Sigma, Cabbie and many more, cover the full spectrum of the sound, whilst always keeping it dirty and funky. No messing about, first and foremost this is a collection of tracks that will punch holes in your speakers!
Album tracks have has been hugely popular on dancefloors across the globe in recent months: its anthems have been spun by the likes of front-runners Andy C, Friction, Grooverider, DJ Marky and DJ Hype whilst its rollers have been have been extremely popular with the scene’s tech-step pioneers including the likes of Optical, Fierce, Audio, Ed Rush and Cause4Concern.
